Position Details

Qualifications

• Must possess State of Michigan 7-12 Social Studies Certification (RX)
• Multiple endorsements preferred

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Demonstration of a strong knowledge of subject area being taught
• Planning for and delivery of rigorous content
• Checking for and building of higher-level understanding in students
• Recognition of the diverse needs among students and commitment to differentiation in instructional approach in order to meet the needs of all students
• Maintenance of exceptional classroom management
• Efficient and effective use of instructional time
• Solicitation of high student engagement
• Establishment and maintenance of strong, appropriate relationships with students
• Participate in school development and curriculum activities.
• Other duties as assigned by Administration
