Qualifications
- Must possess State of Michigan 7-12 Social Studies Certification (RX)
- Multiple endorsements preferred
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Demonstration of a strong knowledge of subject area being taught
- Planning for and delivery of rigorous content
- Checking for and building of higher-level understanding in students
- Recognition of the diverse needs among students and commitment to differentiation in instructional approach in order to meet the needs of all students
- Maintenance of exceptional classroom management
- Efficient and effective use of instructional time
- Solicitation of high student engagement
- Establishment and maintenance of strong, appropriate relationships with students
- Participate in school development and curriculum activities.
- Other duties as assigned by Administration
