Senior Trade Compliance Analyst Role

In this pivotal role, GEODIS requires a Senior Trade Compliance Analyst with at least three years’ experience in customs and import management. You will be responsible for classifying products, applying regulatory decisions, and liaising with clients and governmental bodies. Your ability to interpret Canadian regulations will be critical for advising on cost-effective sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Classify products in line with Canadian regulations
• Review and analyze new regulations from Canada Gazette
• Advise on product design to lower duties
• Conduct audits and presentations for effective compliance
• Prepare detailed reports on customs activities

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in customs brokerage
• Familiarity with Canadian Customs Tariff
• Strong technical document interpretation skills
• Excellent Excel and Office proficiency
• Proven communication and relationship management abilities
