Job Summary
Metro Motor is seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented SEM & SEO Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing both paid and organic search strategies to drive qualified traffic, increase conversions, and maximize return on ad spend across multiple locations.
This is a hybrid position, combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility, ideal for a candidate who thrives in both independent and team-driven environments.
Compensation
- Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 annually (based on experience)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Work Schedule: Hybrid (combination of in-office and remote work)
Key Responsibilities
Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
- Plan, execute, and manage paid search campaigns across major platforms
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience targeting
- Write and test ad copy to improve click-through rates and conversions
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on data insights
- Manage budgets, bidding strategies, and campaign pacing
- Implement and optimize conversion tracking and analytics tools
- Perform A/B testing on ads, landing pages, and campaign strategies
- Generate performance reports with actionable recommendations
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve rankings and organic traffic
- Optimize on-page elements including metadata, headers, and internal linking
- Conduct technical SEO audits and coordinate improvements
- Track keyword rankings, traffic trends, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with content teams to create SEO-optimized content
- Manage local SEO efforts, including business listings and citations
- Support backlink strategies and overall domain authority growth
- Stay current on search engine updates and best practices
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, SEM, or SEO
- Strong understanding of paid search and organic search strategies
- Experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar)
- Proficiency with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics
- Experience with conversion tracking and campaign performance analysis
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with local SEO and multi-location businesses
- Familiarity with display advertising, remarketing, or paid social
- Knowledge of landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or CMS platforms
