System Administration (DevOps Exposure) (Gurugram)

System / Network Administrator (On-site — Gurgaon)

Location: Gurgaon (on-site)

Workdays / Hours: Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (6 days/week)

Job Role:

We are looking for a System Administrator with strong hands-on experience in system administration and at least 6 months of exposure to DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing servers, supporting deployments, and working closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

● Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Windows servers

● Monitor system performance, uptime, and security

● Manage user access, permissions, and system backups

● Support application deployments and environment setups

● Assist in CI/CD pipeline execution and monitoring

● Work with DevOps tools to automate routine tasks

● Troubleshoot system, network, and application-level issues

● Coordinate with developers for release and production support

● Maintain system documentation and SOPs

Required Skills & Qualifications

● 2+ years of experience as a System Administrator

● Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) and/or Windows Server

● Hands-on experience with:

○ User & access management

○ Server monitoring & troubleshooting

○ Networking basics (DNS, IP, ports, firewalls)

● Minimum 6 months exposure to DevOps, including:

○ CI/CD concepts

○ Git / version control

○ Build & deployment processes

● Scripting knowledge (Bash / Shell preferred)

● Positive problem-solving and communication skills

Good to Have

● Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)

● Exposure to Docker / containers

● Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

● Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts

● Experience working in Agile environments
