Job Summary
The Lab Incharge is responsible for managing overall laboratory operations, ensuring accurate testing, maintaining quality standards, and supervising lab staff for smooth and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations
- Ensure proper sample collection, handling, and processing
- Maintain accuracy and quality of test results
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures
- Supervise and guide lab technicians and staff
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
- Manage inventory of reagents, chemicals, and consumables
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
- Maintain records, reports, and documentation
- Coordinate with doctors and other departments
Qualifications
- B.Sc (Medical Laboratory Technology / Life Sciences)
- DMLT / MLT certification
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
Skills Required:
- Strong technical knowledge of lab procedures
- Leadership and team management skills
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Problem-solving ability
Preferred
- Experience in NABL/NABH accredited labs
- Knowledge of automated lab systems
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per hour
