We work closely with leading hospitals, doctors, healthcare providers, and international partners to simplify the patient journey from medical opinion to treatment, travel, recovery, and follow-up care.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and execution-focused PR professional who can enhance the visibility of Medsurge India, build strong media relationships, create compelling healthcare stories, and position the company and its leadership as trusted voices in healthcare access and medical tourism.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about storytelling, media engagement, brand building, and healthcare communications.

Key ResponsibilitiesMedia Relations & Outreach

  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, healthcare publications, business media, and digital news platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for media coverage, interviews, expert opinions, and feature stories.
  • Maintain and regularly update a media contact database.

Press Releases & Media Content

  • Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, company announcements, and partnership updates.
  • Develop compelling stories around patient success journeys, healthcare innovations, international patient care, and company milestones.
  • Coordinate media responses and communication requirements.

Founder & Leadership Branding

  • Support the personal branding of the Founder & Leadership Team through:
  • Interviews
  • Podcasts
  • Guest articles
  • Industry events
  • Thought leadership content
  • Identify speaking opportunities and healthcare forums for leadership participation.

Corporate Communications

  • Draft communication materials including:
  • Company profiles
  • Newsletters
  • LinkedIn articles
  • Corporate presentations
  • Partnership announcements
  • Award nominations

Event & Partnership Promotion

  • Manage publicity for:
  • Medical camps
  • Webinars
  • International roadshows
  • Hospital partnerships
  • Information Centre launches
  • Healthcare awareness initiatives

Online Reputation & Brand Monitoring

  • Monitor media mentions and brand visibility.
  • Track industry trends and competitor coverage.
  • Maintain records of all media coverage and PR activities.
  • Coordinate with the Digital Marketing Team to amplify media coverage across channels.

Awards, Recognition & Verification Initiatives

  • Identify and apply for relevant healthcare, startup, and business awards.
  • Support initiatives related to brand verification, industry recognition, and corporate credibility.
  • Assist in strengthening Medsurge India's public presence through strategic visibility campaigns.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Monthly

  • Secure 3–5 quality media placements.
  • Publish 2 press releases or company announcements.
  • Generate 1 founder interview, feature, or expert article.
  • Publish 2 thought leadership articles.
  • Establish relationships with at least 5 new media contacts.

Quarterly

  • Achieve 10–15 quality media mentions.
  • Secure coverage in healthcare, business, and startup publications.
  • Increase brand visibility and branded search presence.
  • Support strategic partnerships through PR initiatives.

Annual

  • 50+ quality media mentions.
  • Establish Medsurge India as a recognized healthcare access brand.
  • Build strong visibility for the Founder and Leadership Team.
  • Contribute towards industry recognition, awards, and verification initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Media Relations, Journalism, or Content Communications.
  • Experience in healthcare, healthtech, hospitals, medical tourism, startups, or related sectors will be preferred.

  • Strong storytelling and content creation abilities.
  • Media pitching and relationship-building skills.
  • Press release and article writing.
  • Social media and LinkedIn communication.
  • Event coordination and stakeholder management.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 12 months, the candidate should help position Medsurge India as a trusted healthcare access platform through consistent media visibility, leadership branding, healthcare industry recognition, strategic storytelling, and strong media relationships that support business growth, patient trust, hospital partnerships, and future expansion initiatives.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹56,879.14 per month
