This role leads and manages multiple medium to large‑scale projects of varying complexity and provides technical guidance and support to team members to ensure consistent execution and capability development.Position Type: Full-timeLocation: Guelph, DC (On-Site) Reporting to: Dir, Business Operations & AnalyticsJob DescriptionLead multiple nation-wide projects from concept to realization leading individuals from multiple departments and disciplines. Determine, develop, recommend and implement solutions of projects after performing significant engineering analyses inclusive of hypotheses validation. Review, develop and partner with technological solution providers to analyze, review and potentially implement enhanced solutions.Provide support and guidance indirectly to Operations Engineer I and Operations Engineer II positions.Provide software application expertise in Warehouse Management System(s), Labor Management System, Transportation Management System, Microsoft Access proficiency, etc.Perform and deploy work measurement techniques including time and motion studiesSupport continuous improvement initiatives by standardizing processes and embedding best practices across operations.Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions are practical and scalableQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or General Engineering.At least 3 years engineering experience. Demonstrated experience leading and delivering medium to large‑scale operational improvement projects.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate process analysis into executable solutions.Proven ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity in a dynamic environment.Capable of standing / walking all day within a warehousing environment. Demonstrated strength in process analysis and continuous improvement methodologiesProven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong understanding of operational efficiency and labor optimization principlesAdvanced data‑driven problem‑solving and analytical capabilitiesAbility to provide coaching and technical guidance to support performance and developmentDistribution or warehousing experience.Willing to travel occasionally for business purposes (within Canada)The anticipated salary range for this position:$91,400.00 - $137,000.00 AnnualThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
