Position Summary:

The Scientist I will independently design, execute, and analyze experiments to support discovery and development programs in immunology. The role requires strong scientific expertise, hands-on laboratory experience, and the ability to contribute to program strategy while ensuring compliance with applicable scientific and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, plan, and execute ImmunoConcepts products, including assay performance and manufacturing process.

Lead experimental workflows involving immune assays (e.g., IIFA, ELISA, cell-based assays, flow cytometry, protein expression, cytokine profiling)

Analyze, interpret, and present complex data to support scientific conclusions and program decisions

Contribute to the development of immunology strategies for ongoing and new programs

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including biology, clinical, and regulatory groups as needed

Prepare high-quality scientific reports, technical documents, and presentations

Support development of diagnostic products through preclinical and translational stages

Ensure laboratory activities comply with applicable quality standards and regulatory expectations (e.g., GLP, GCP awareness)

Stay current with advancements in immunology and related technologies, integrating new approaches where relevant

Qualifications and/or experience required:

Masters degree in Immunology or related life sciences (e.g., Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology) with 23 years of relevant industry or research experience, OR Ph.D. in Immunology, Biological Sciences or a closely related discipline

Strong hands-on experience with immunological techniques such as: IIFA, IHC, ELISA/ multiplex assays, Cell culture (primary cells and cell lines), Flow cytometry, Immune functional assays

Proven ability in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation

Working knowledge of research compliance standards (e.g., GLP/GCP) and general awareness of global regulatory frameworks

Experience in biologics, or immune-based therapeutics is an advantage

Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
