Job Description
· Research, pitch, and develop relevant story ideas
· Writing stories for online/magazines
· Editing articles and putting them in a proper shape, with headlines, sub-heads, intros, graphs, charts and illustrations as needed, in accordance with British English
· Participating proactively in editorial meetings with ideas and suggestions for articles, dossiers and themes
· Making the pagination for each issue
· Contribute to MIG and India Outbound social media improvement and content.
· Liaising with editors, sub-editors, designers and photographers to coordinate proper and timely delivery of articles and photographs for each article
· Verifying statements and facts in the articles
· Proofing and making corrections in the articles at all stages up to publication (on paper or digital)
· Researching articles and Stay updated with current affairs, trends, and industry developments.
· Editing/ Writing for publication on a tight deadline
· Building contacts and sources for use in future stories
· Fact-checking the information given to you by a source
· Creating blog publications
· Learn multimedia capabilities
