Base pay range

$115,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Executive Summary

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Data Analyst for a Washington, DC client supporting federal data management and analytics projects. The ideal candidate resides in Washington, DC, holds an active BI or NACLC Public Trust security clearance, has a bachelor's degree, and 7 years of experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, organizational, and project management skills are essential, along with experience working in a matrix environment and communicating with diverse stakeholders.

As a Senior Enterprise Data Analyst with SAS/Tableau expertise, you will support federal data projects by creating reports, dashboards, querying databases, ensuring data quality, and supporting ETL processes.

You will join our client’s team as a senior SAS/Tableau developer for the Enterprise Analytics project, addressing BI challenges. The role requires deep technical skills in SQL, BI tools, ETL, and data profiling. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, confidence, ownership, and critical thinking. Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Position Responsibilities: Extract data from relational databases, EDW, and Foundry for analysis. Collaborate with operational stakeholders to identify initiatives and deliver data-driven solutions. Perform quality assurance on reports and dashboards to ensure data and analysis integrity. Align business requirements with data solutions and enable insights, identifying process concerns and dependencies. Facilitate requirement gathering, discovery, analysis, design, testing, and validation phases. Engage with functional analysts and process owners for ideation. Monitor business changes and recommend analytics improvements. Create Tableau SOPs and document development processes for knowledge sharing. Propose strategies to address business challenges. Required Skills and Qualifications: Security Clearance: Active BI or NACLC Public Trust clearance. Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of analytical experience. Experience in matrix organizations and communicating across technical/non-technical audiences. Ability to present complex insights simply and effectively. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and innovative skills. Minimum 5 years in an analytical role. Extensive SAS development experience (SAS/Macro, Data Step, SAS/Access). Experience with Enterprise Guide and Data Mining tools (a plus). Strong SQL and Tableau skills. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Team collaboration, mentoring, and training skills. Experience with Jira and Agile processes. Comfortable in fast-paced environments, quick learner. Good communication and writing skills. Leadership qualities and forward-thinking mindset. Ability to demonstrate the value of analytics to clients. Desired Skills: Extensive Tableau dashboard design and development experience. Quality assurance and validation, especially comparing data sources.
