Carpenter Enterprises (B.C.) Inc is an independently owned and operated franchise ofMcDonald'slocated in British Columbia. We are currently seeking reliable Daytime Cashier / Line Cook Team Members to join our team.

This is a permanent daytime position responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, preparing food and beverages, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations during daytime hours.

Position Summary

The Daytime Cashier / Line Cook works in a fast-paced team environment to complete assigned tasks during scheduled 7–8 hour shifts. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders, and process payments accurately
• Prepare food and beverages to McDonald’s standards
• Assemble dine-in, take-out, and delivery orders
• Follow structured procedures and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and managers
• Adhere to food safety standards, company policies, and Occupational Health and Safety requirements

Qualifications

• Must be available 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 5 days per week
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• No prior experience required; experience in food service, retail, or customer service is an asset
• Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Shifts of 7–8 hours per day, 5 days per week
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Exposure to kitchen equipment and cleaning chemicals
• Fast-paced, dynamic work environment
