Personal Care Aide / Caregiver – – /hr – Flexible Schedule

Maya Home Health Care is hiring compassionate Personal Care Aides and Caregivers to provide one-on-one care for clients in their homes throughout Northern Virginia.

We are looking for dependable, caring, and professional caregivers who can assist clients with daily activities, companionship, and personal care needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help with transfers, ambulation, and fall precautions
• Provide meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Remind clients to take medications as directed
• Assist with errands and appointments when assigned
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Follow the client’s care plan and agency policies
• Document care provided accurately and on time

Requirements

• Previous caregiving, PCA, HHA, CNA, or personal care experience preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful
• Ability to assist with transfers and personal care
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Able to pass background screening
• CPR/First Aid preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA, HHA, PCA, or Direct Care experience
• Experience with seniors, dementia care, Parkinson’s care, fall-risk clients, or total assist clients
• Comfortable using mobile apps for scheduling/documentation
