We are seeking a motivated and energetic Commercial Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on commercial construction sites
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform wiring, conduit installation, and fixture mounting
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams to support accurate installations
• Conduct basic testing of electrical circuits using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to ensure system integrity
• Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to construction site safety regulations

Skills

• Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrician tasks is highly desirable
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment like ohmmeters
• Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, including safety procedures for both
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately
• Familiarity with NEC standards for electrical installations in commercial settings
• Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols and hazard awareness
• Basic frame carpentry skills are a plus for supporting structural components related to electrical work
