Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Journeyman Lineman located in Chester, VA. The Journeyman Lineman will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing overhead and underground electrical power distribution systems. This includes operating heavy equipment, handling high-voltage lines, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The role also involves emergency response and on-call duties as needed to restore power in a timely manner.

Qualifications
- 2+ Years of Experience as a Journeyman Lineman
- Expertise in Electricity and experience with Power Distribution systems
- Possession of a valid CDL Class A or B license
- A strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations for NESC, OSHA, and NEC
- Ability to climb poles
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at elevated heights
- Completion of a recognized apprentice program and a Journeyman Lineman certification
- Problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed
Preferred
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- OSHA 10 or 30 hour Training Card
- Experience working with Substation systems
