As a Technical Support Specialist (L2) with 4-7 years of experience in Chennai, your role overview involves managing network & infrastructure, server & systems administration, security & compliance, support & operations, as well as automation & process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, routers, and gateways.
- Manage ILL connectivity and PRI/dialer systems (Vicidial).
- Ensure high availability and quick resolution of network issues.
- Administer Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and access management.
- Implement patches, firmware updates, antivirus, and DLP controls.
- Enforce endpoint and security policies using Manage Engine tools.
- Handle L2 escalations, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution.
- Develop basic automation/scripts to improve efficiency.
- Maintain SOPs and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
