Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The candidate must ensure safe, timely, and accurate delivery of prescription medications and related healthcare products to patients, healthcare facilities, and long-term care centers. This role plays a key part in maintaining patient satisfaction, protecting sensitive healthcare information, and supporting the pharmacy’s daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport prescription medications and pharmaceutical supplies from the pharmacy to patient homes, clinics, or partner facilities.
  • Verify delivery information and obtain proper signatures to confirm receipt of medications.
  • Handle and secure medications in compliance with HIPAA and all applicable provincial regulations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel receipts, and mileage records.
  • Communicate promptly with pharmacy staff regarding delivery issues, delays, or address discrepancies.
  • Provide courteous, professional service and represent the pharmacy positively to patients and healthcare partners.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Assist with basic pharmacy tasks such as organizing deliveries, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in delivery, courier, or pharmacy-related work preferred.
  • Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; background check required.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.75-$18.00 per hour
