Matchtech are working with a key client to support the recruitment of a V&V Lead for Transit Projects in Ontario.

Missions/Main Duties

Develop and maintain the V&V Strategy and Master V&V Plan for the project scopes.
Define V&V methods and evidence requirements for each level of requirements;
Coordinate preparation of test procedures, inspection plans and other V&V artefacts;
Track execution of V&V activities and management of findings / defects;
Prepare V&V status reports and contribute to safety case and acceptance documentation.

Profile/Skills

University degree in Engineering;
10+ years’ experience in verification & validation, testing and commissioning or assurance for rail / transit systems;
Strong knowledge of V&V planning, test methods, evidence management and defect resolution;
Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders during system testing and acceptance.
Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario or equivalent;
Formal training in verification & validation and/or testing/commissioning (CENELEC EN 50126/8/9 or similar) considered an asset
