Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, bend, and install conduit and wiring systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project tasks
• Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems on construction sites
• Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and identify issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Help with the installation of frame carpentry components related to electrical infrastructure when necessary

Qualifications

• Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electrical safety procedures
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams effectively
• Experience with construction site environments or related construction activities preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards in all tasks performed
• Ability to work well in a team setting under the supervision of licensed electricians
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in electrical systems is advantageous
