Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, bend, and install conduit and wiring systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project tasks
- Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems on construction sites
- Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and identify issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Help with the installation of frame carpentry components related to electrical infrastructure when necessary
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electrical safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams effectively
