Job Description
Location: Old Massett
We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to play a critical role in transforming an existing analytics ecosystem into a modern, scalable Databricks + dbt architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold).
This role goes beyond traditional data engineering—you will own the transformation layer, partnering closely with business stakeholders to rebuild and optimize ~300+ legacy data pipelines clean, well-modeled, and trusted data products.
You will be at the forefront of enabling self-service analytics, experimentation (A/B testing), and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years in Analytics Engineering / Data Engineering / BI Engineering
- Deep expertise in:
- SQL (advanced query optimization & performance tuning)
- dbt (modeling, testing, documentation, packages)
- Strong experience with:
- Databricks / Snowflake / Big Query / Redshift
- Proven track record in:
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with BI/reporting tools (for migration context)
- Familiarity with:
- Airflow or orchestration frameworks
- Experimentation / A/B testing environments
