Production Manager (South NJ Manufacturing)

ABOUT THE COMPANY

WISECO is a privately held investment and holdings company established in 2018. Our New Jersey subsidiary operates a Class 2 Cannabis Manufacturing facility focused on producing high-quality pre-roll, pre-pack, and vape products for the regulated New Jersey market.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented Production Associates to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll work hands-on in a fast-paced production environment, following established procedures to help produce consistent, compliant cannabis products. You’ll report directly to a Production Manager and play a key part in our daily operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive batch sheets from the Site Manager and coordinate with the Inventory Manager to

confirm pulled inventory before production begins

• Direct and supervise Production Associates throughout each shift, assigning tasks, setting

priorities, and ensuring consistent output

• Manage production workflows in your designated area, ensuring adherence to all SOPs,

work instructions, and internal documentation

• Monitor product quality throughout the production process and address deviations

immediately

• Maintain accurate production records, batch logs, and documentation in compliance with

CRC regulations

• Collaborate with the Compliance Manager to ensure all processes meet regulatory

requirements and audit readiness

• Work with the Inventory Manager to manage material flow, minimize waste, and flag supply

issues early

• Train, coach, and develop Production Associates on procedures, safety protocols, and best

practices

• Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized production area at all times
• Report production status, issues, and improvement opportunities to the Site Manager
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and

improve product quality

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 2+ years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse supervisory role
• Computer proficiency — comfortable with production tracking software, spreadsheets, and

digital documentation

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, direct, and hold a team accountable
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to following documented procedures
• Strong communication skills — able to coordinate across departments and relay information

clearly

• Reliable attendance and punctuality — must be available for full shift coverage
• Must pass a background check in accordance with New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory

Commission (CRC) requirements

Preferred

• Experience in the cannabis industry or other heavily regulated industries (food, pharma,

cosmetics)

• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or similar quality management

systems

• Experience managing teams of 5+ in a production or warehouse setting
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

• Full-time, hourly position
• Standard 8-hour shifts
• Compensation commensurate with experience
