Demand Planner/ Mars Petcare/ Hyderabad

Role Overview:

As a Demand Planner at Mars Petcare India, you will be responsible for leading the demand planning process and ensuring optimal stock availability to meet customer needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate demand forecasts for the India business unit using statistical tools and market insights.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply teams to build consensus demand plans aligned with business goals.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to drive forecast accuracy.
• Support new product launches with route-to-market volume forecasts and promotional impact analysis.
• Generate annual forecasts and scenario plans as part of the business planning process.
• Build capabilities within the team and enhance demand planning maturity through collaboration with global Centre of Excellence teams.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelors degree (B.Com/B.Sc./B.Tech) with an MBA.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in demand forecasting, statistical methods, and baseline generation.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain functions and forecasting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with demand forecasting software.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and drive results.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
