Job Description
As a Rooms & Guest Services Operations Manager at Le Meridien Gurgaon Delhi NCR, your role involves supporting all aspects of Concierge functions in accordance with hotel standards. You will maintain a concierge service and management philosophy that guides your respective staff. Your responsibilities include assisting in developing and maintaining the acknowledgment and service of all guests visiting the location, ensuring all departments are aware of guests' needs prior to arrival for a unique and memorable stay.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate day-to-day operations to meet customer expectations and standards.
- Develop specific goals and plans for organizing work effectively.
- Support concierge team in focusing on critical operational components for guest satisfaction and financial results.
- Establish effective database for restaurant and local attraction recommendations.
- Build relationships with local attractions and businesses to enhance guest experiences.
- Provide recommendations and arrange services for guests as requested.
- Maintain awareness of cultural differences to meet specific guest needs.
- Handle check-in, check-out services, and reservations when necessary.
- Ensure repeat and VIP guests receive appropriate service.
- Respond to emergency situations using proper procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of daily operations, events, and guest requests.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide warm welcome throughout their stay.
- Encourage mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- Serve as a role model for appropriate behaviors.
- Maintain open, collaborative relationships with employees within the team.
- Ensure concierge team adheres to hotel policies, procedures, and standards for total guest satisfaction.
**Qualifications Required:**
- High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in guest services or related area, OR
- 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major without prior work experience requirement.
