🎬 Paid Summer Internship: Social Media Video and Content Producer

Marketing.fan is a boutique brand marketing agency that works with early-stage and growing brands primarily in the world of tech startups, but occasionally also local consumer businesses. We're looking for a summer intern who's already good at making social content — not someone who wants to learn what Instagram for business is, but someone who's been making reels, shooting video, and editing on their phone or laptop because they genuinely enjoy it.

What you'd be doing:

• Producing, shooting, and editing short-form video content (reels, stories, TikToks) across multiple client brands
• Creating carousels, photo content, and graphics for Instagram and other platforms
• Coming into San Francisco one day per week to capture video at client locations and events (we cover your transit costs, travel time, and lunch)
• Working ~20 hours/week on a flexible schedule around your classes or other commitments

Who this is for:

• College students studying media, communications, marketing, PR, journalism, film, or a related field — or anyone with a serious personal investment in content creation, video, and social media
• Someone with a portfolio of work they're proud of, even if it's just their own TikTok or Instagram account
• Bonus if you have experience with animation, motion graphics, or tools like After Effects, CapCut, or Canva
• Based in or near the SF Bay Area with the ability to be in the city at least once a week

Compensation & perks:

• $20–$25/hour depending on the skills you arrive with

One thing to know upfront: our interview process includes a paid trial assignment. If your application and our chat are good, we'll ask you to shoot and edit a reel from scratch and pay you for 4 hours of work upon delivery. If that doesn't sound like something you'd enjoy/ are ready to execute, this internship probably isn't the right fit.
