We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Collector to join our team. This role is best suited for someone who can take ownership of their portfolio, work through complex account issues, and consistently drive accounts to resolution.

This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate account challenges are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts, ensuring consistent follow-up and timely resolution of outstanding balances
• Proactively contact customers to collect overdue payments and address account issues
• Negotiate payments and move aged balances toward resolution
• Investigate and resolve short payments, disputes, and billing discrepancies
• Maintain detailed and accurate account notes and system updates
• Post and apply payments as required
• Review credit applications and approve credit within established parameters
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve issues and prevent delays in payment

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of collections or accounts receivable experience
• Proven ability to independently manage a portfolio and drive results
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex account situations
• Confident, professional communication style, including handling difficult conversations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with TruckMate is considered an asset
• Comfortable working in a fully in-office setting

Pay: $48,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
