Platform Engineer - Orchestration Expert 💰 Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year

📝 Rquirements:

• Bachelors Degree with 9+ years of experience; or High School Diploma/GED with 13+ years of experience; or Associates Degree with 11+ years of experience; or Masters Degree with 7+ years of experience; or PhD with 5+ years of experience
• Proficient in KVM/QEMU, VMware ESXi, or Hyper-V for managing kernel-level virtualization and emulated hardware
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker
• Experienced with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Strong understanding of the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and experience using eMASS
• Active TS/SCI CI poly clearance and U.S. citizenship required

👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are:

• Design and maintain mission platforms, operational planning tools, and visualization interfaces
• Lead the migration of legacy systems to commercial, private, and hybrid cloud platforms utilizing technologies like Kubernetes, KVM/QEMU, and VMware
• Develop containerized environments to enhance the agility and scalability of cyber operations
• Conduct technical maintenance for mission-critical networks to ensure continuous availability and optimal performance
• Construct and uphold high-fidelity lab environments, simulators, and test ranges to assess prototype systems
• Provide tier-level support to ensure the integrity of data, communications, and system performance for all range and lab users
• Employ automated orchestration and delivery pathways to manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible
