Our client, a leader in the technology industry, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their innovative team. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, influence others positively, and possess a passion for continuous learning, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer w/Big Data

Location: Rockville, MD

Pay Range: $73-78/hr based on experience

What's the Job?

• Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of scalable technical solutions within an Agile environment.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios, delivering effective solutions.
• Develop and optimize API platforms to serve big data with high performance, leveraging AWS architecture principles.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, experiment with new tools, and contribute to innovation through active participation in tech communities.
• Demonstrate ownership, a growth mindset, and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving and project execution.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering with proven leadership capabilities.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or SQL.
• 2+ years of experience developing Web UI using frameworks like jQuery, AngularJS, or similar.
• 3+ years working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Presto, and familiarity with AWS services like EMR, Lambda, S3, and ECS.
