Job Scopes:
- Take ownership of the communication strategy from development to implementation as the main liaison/contact for all PR related matters in the region
- To ensure global / regional strategies and corporate messaging are consistently aligned and integrated in the countries across all channels
- Maintain and safeguard company's brand identity with clear and concise messaging of company’s objectives and directions
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to align communication goals with overall business objectives
Media Relation
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with local key journalists, media outlets, industry analysts in the region to further shape the corporate perception and own the narratives
- Craft compelling storylines that resonate with audiences and enhance the company's reputation
- Use analytics and performance data to refine communication strategies by continuously improving and ensuring that the communication efforts are effective and efficient
Internal Comms
- Advise and support country management and local leaders in communicating effectively with the local workforce
- Develop and implement internal communication initiatives aligned with local business needs
- Localize global messages and campaigns to ensure local relevance and engagement
- Manage local internal communication channels (e.g. intranet, town halls, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with HR, leadership, and Group Internal communications to ensure alignment and consistency
- Monitor employee feedback and engagement to continuously improve communication effectiveness
CEO & Higher Executives Comms
- Provide a comprehensive comms strategy for C-Level positioning on country level
- Maintain weekly comms calendar and content development for social media purpose (LI)
Crisis Comm
- Prepare for and respond to potential crises by executing rapid and effective communication during challenging situations
Educational Qualifications and Core Expertise:
- At least 8-10 years of strong foundation in corporate comms / mass comms department and/or public relation be it in-house or in agency (global / MNC’s setting preferred)
- Qualification of diploma / degree in mass comms, journalism or similar certifications / accreditations
- Professional level of English fluency in corporate setting
Interpersonal and Communication Abilities:
- Exceptional writing and communication skills in English, with the ability to craft compelling content for diverse audiences
- A proactive, creative, and independent approach to work, coupled with excellent teamwork capabilities
- Strong multitasking abilities and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Professional Attributes:
- Commercially aware with a solid understanding of corporate procedures, concepts, principles and work ethics related to communications / media landscape in the region
- Skilled at evaluating situations using multiple sources of information and applying advanced communication and diplomacy skills to influence others effectively when required
- A hands-on personnel who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and demonstrates the ability to handle both strategic planning and execution
