Our client, a leading organization in the consumer goods industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities that drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst
Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay Range: $50 - $60 per hr (based on experience)
Shift: Day shift 7.5 hrs work day flexible (Mon-Thurs from office, Fri-Remote)
What's the Job?
- Support quarterly forecasting and tracking of P&L lines to budget, providing critical insights for financial planning.
- Assist in the implementation of TPM 2.0 project, supporting sales force initiatives and process improvements.
- Participate in month-end close activities, reviewing and analyzing P&L statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Track actual versus forecasted trade spend, updating estimates on a quarterly basis, and conducting promotional deal analysis.
- Ensure SOX compliance and liaise with internal and external auditors to maintain strong controls and governance.
What's Needed?
- CPA designation or equivalent professional qualification.
- Full understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet statements.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Experience with financial systems such as Sales Force, Oracle Fusion, or HPT is a plus.
