Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Markham, ON
What’s the Job?
- Perform and assist Line Technicians with set-ups/equipment changeovers for filling, assembly, and process equipment.
- Troubleshoot drive mechanisms, including motors, gearboxes, pulleys, and bearings.
- Perform basic set-ups/changeovers for packaging and process equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance (PM) and breakdown analysis on equipment.
- Address major equipment failure modes and train operators on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
What’s Needed?
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1-3 years of related experience in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of machine tools and hand tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
