What You’ll Do

You will collaborate cross-functionally with Program Management, Operations, Engineering, and Facilities to enhance manufacturing performance and support strategic growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing production area models using process flows, value stream maps, Pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings
  • Capturing and analyzing material flow, information exchange, and key performance metrics
  • Conducting capacity analysis, line balancing, and factory layout optimization
  • Applying Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve throughput
  • Leading FMEA reviews, scrap analysis, and feasibility studies
  • Performing ROI-driven cost-benefit evaluations for automation and capital expenditures
  • Contributing to strategic roadmaps focused on automation, digital transformation, infrastructure, and technology integration
  • Supporting high-mix, mid-volume production environments with data-driven insights

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (or related engineering/science discipline)
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience (defense industry experience considered an asset)
  • Working toward or eligible for P.Eng designation
  • Experience in high-mix, mid-volume production environments
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles
  • Experience with production systems, manufacturing technologies, and performance metrics
  • Familiarity with simulation tools
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
