Our growing Halton client who is a leader in Telecommunications product is looking for a Director of National Sales to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years in Sales Leadership and managing a team.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, and account management, with a proven track record of developing successful sales strategies and fostering customer relationships. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, negotiation abilities, and a keen understanding of market trends to effectively position our products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives and drive business growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to exceed performance targets while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients through effective account management and customer service initiatives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales activities, managing pipelines, and generating reports for performance analysis.
  • Engage in outside sales activities, including networking events, trade shows, and client meetings to expand the customer base.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, technology sales, or technical sales with a strong understanding of the industry landscape.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and account management roles.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing a diverse team of sales professionals.
  • Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing customer relationships and tracking performance metrics.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to assess market data and make informed decisions that drive sales strategies.

Please note there is 40% travel required.

Salary- 135K-140K Base plus commission.
