PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assure approved timesheets are received for all jobs.
• Import of field hours worked into the payroll system.
• Ensure all time is in the system correctly.
• Pay any reimbursable items.
• Monitor all employee deductions.
• Pay employee garnishments when due.
• Assist in preparing Certified Payroll reports.
• Assist in preparation of OCIP and CCIP reports.
• Monitor all new employees to insure all required new hire forms are received.
• Process all new hires into the system.
• Track all employee job transfers to assure paychecks go to the right jobs.
• Verify the computation of all incentive items for payment.
• Special projects as needed.

Required Experience:

• 2+ years of experience processing payroll required
• Proficient in Outlook, Word; excellent Excel skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with all personality types and under strict deadlines.
• Reliable with strong work ethic and excellent teamwork.
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
• Able to handle sensitive and confidential material.

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for an ambitious person that has 2+ years high-volume construction payroll experience that includes certified payroll, preferably in a multi-company environment. Experience with construction accounting/payroll software (ex: Viewpoint Vista, Sage/Timberline, etc.) preferred. The right person will have a positive attitude, focus on solving problems professionally, and team focus. There is great opportunity for the right person to broaden their payroll skills in our rapidly expanding company.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Degree

Specific Skills:

• Familiarity with Construction Accounting Software desired.
• Familiarity with Excel

Analytical Skills

• Good Organization & Attention-to-detail
• Preference will be given to bi-lingual candidates.
