• Prepare the laboratory before classes by arranging equipment, chemicals, models, and materials.
• Assist teachers during practical sessions for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• Maintain and organize lab equipment, tools, and materials safely.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of chemicals and glassware.
• Maintain the stock register, issue register, and logbooks.
• Perform regular calibration, cleaning, and minor repairs of laboratory instruments.
• Follow safety protocols; ensure first-aid and safety kits are available.
• Support in conducting practical exams (internal and board exams).
• Dispose of chemical waste safely as per guidelines.
• Assist in setting up laboratory demonstrations and experiments.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the lab at all times.
• Report any shortages, breakage, or safety issues to the concerned teacher/HOD.
