We recently completed a $150 million Series D round, bringing our total funding to $254 million and valuing the company at $2.5 billion.

We are currently looking for an Account Executive based in either Montreal or Toronto in Canada or Raleigh or Austin in the United States. This role is unique and different from almost anything else currently available in the market as you will have full ownership and accountability within a defined market at MaintainX. You will be completely full-cycle: from prospecting, discovery, demo, to signature.

Reporting to one of the Sales Managers for the Emerging team, this is a high-responsibility role focusing on meeting targets every month.

What You’ll Do

  • New Logo Sales – close new accounts and consistently hit targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Prospecting – contribute to pipeline with self outbound efforts in addition to leads from marketing and the BDR team.
  • Lead Conversion – nurture warm leads from sales cycle to close.
  • Presentation – conduct discovery calls, high-level product demonstrations, and closing calls.
  • Forecast – accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales with +/- 15% accuracy.
  • Organize – manage multiple tasks (new leads, demos, proposals, follow-ups) and stay organized.
  • Systems – master using tools like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and others.
  • Getting Better Every Day – participate in onboarding and ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Thought Leadership – understand and stay passionate about the industry.
  • Startup Mentality – embrace an entrepreneurial, grind-it-out approach.

About You

  • B2B sales experience.
  • 2+ years of total sales experience in a closing role.
  • Documented success as a closer.
  • Ability to articulate metrics and data.
  • Willingness to prospect and contribute to your own pipeline. Whatever it takes.
  • Experience conducting your own discovery calls and product demonstrations.
  • Comfortable moving fast, multi-tasking, and keeping the energy high.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication ability.
  • Insanely detail-oriented and organized.
  • Personality traits: positive, passionate, creative, smart, high-character.
  • BA degree or higher.

Bonus If You Have

  • Experience with modern sales tech stacks: Salesforce, Salesloft, DiscoverOrg, etc.
  • Experience with startups and entrepreneurial organizations.
  • Experience working in CMMS or facility operations software.
  • Documented success working in a remote setting.
