Automotive Service Technician

Mainline Automotive Group is in immediate need of skilled Journeyman Automotive Service Technicians. Join our repair team where you will apply your expertise to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently, delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring an excellent customer experience. Duties

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
• Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs.
• Follow schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as required.

Skills

• Proficient in automotive repair techniques with hands-on experience using both hand tools and power tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety standards in the workplace.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills to diagnose complex automotive issues.
• Previous experience in a dealership setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $80,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
