Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead both front-of-house (FOH) and heart-of-house (HOH) operations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily service, managing staff across all departments, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining efficient kitchen and operational standards.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations across FOH and HOH, ensuring seamless coordination between service and kitchen teams
  • Manage and develop staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Oversee service standards to ensure an exceptional guest experience at all times
  • Collaborate with kitchen leadership to maintain food quality, consistency, and timely execution
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost controls for both food and beverage programs
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards across all areas of the restaurant
  • Manage scheduling, labor costs, and productivity for both FOH and HOH teams
  • Oversee cash handling, POS systems, and daily financial reporting with accuracy
  • Implement and support sales-driving initiatives, promotions, and operational improvements
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and oversee purchasing processes
  • Address guest feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture between FOH and HOH staff

Skills

  • Proven management experience in a full-service restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of both FOH operations (service, bar, guest relations) and HOH operations (kitchen workflow, food safety, prep and execution)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams
  • Experience with inventory management, food and labor cost control, and P&L awareness
  • Proficiency in POS systems, scheduling software, and restaurant management tools
  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of health codes, sanitation standards, and safety regulations
  • Experience with staff training, development, and performance management
  • Financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
