Macropus is looking for a Web Developer to work on various projects and across multiple platforms to ensure that design specifications and functional requirements have been met.

• Consult with clients to develop and document Web site requirements
• Prepare mock-ups and storyboards
• Develop Web site architecture and determine hardware and software requirements
• Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the Web site
• Create and optimize content for the Web site using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software
• Plan, design, write, modify, integrate and test Web-site related code
• Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
• Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Web site graphics, content, capacity and interactivity
• Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience using the following technologies:
• Advanced JavaScript, HTML, CSS and modern browser technologies
• React, Flux, Redux or similar frameworks for creating web applications
• BitBucket, Git or similar DVCS
• TeamCity, Jenkins or similar CI systems
• Angular JS, jQuery UI jQuery UI jQuery &jQuery UI jQuery UI jQuery UI, Adobe Dreamweaver
• Experience with version control
• Experience with accessibility compliance for html validation
• A quick typist on the keyboard
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Demonstrates initiative in assisting the staff on own determinism
• Ability to take a task or project and can get it done 100% without difficulty or much guidance, working out any issues on their own, and getting support from other staff if needed
• Excellent organizational skills in an office environment
