Senior SQL/SSIS ETL Developer - Risk Data Systems

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the RDS ETL development team to implement RDS Risk-specific deliverables, load data from source systems, and implement transformation logic.
• Design and develop various modules and models for Market Risk projects.
• Implement small enhancements aligned with upstream changes; liaise with Risk Technology teams to load data and maintain consistent environments. Work with Business Analysts to resolve environment discrepancies - utilize current Java-based applications for ETL alongside SSIS.
• Take ownership of project work through all phases: initiation, development, unit testing, QA, UAT, staging, and production.
• Enhance existing ETL tools to ensure compliance with Windows 2022 and Nomura private cloud.
• Provide regional L3 coverage by offering technical SME input to production services/L2 teams.

Mindset:

• Working experience and strong technical knowledge of MS SQL Server Integration Services/ETL development and MS SQL Server.
• Working knowledge of data warehousing, slowly changing dimension concepts, dimensional modeling, Autosys job scheduling, Unix shell scripting, and C#.
• bility to troubleshoot problems across multiple environments with diverse technology stacks.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Knowledge and working experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Ansible, SonarQube).
• Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, and work under tight deadlines.
• Self-starter who can learn quickly and adapt to flexible working hours.

Skillset:

• Expertise in MS SQL, MS SQL Server Integration Services, and C# scripting for SQL Server Integration Services (core skills).
• Strong data investigation, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
