<p> </p></div><p>M9 Solutions is seeking an <strong>AV Field Engineer 3</strong> to work on-site for a client located in <strong>Tysons, VA</strong>. An active <strong>Secret clearance</strong> is required.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct customer site surveys and provide sales engineering support, including collecting and recording detailed operational, functional, and technical requirements, developing project scopes, and providing overall system costing for A/V projects.</li>
<li>Design, integrate, test, and troubleshoot various network and telecommunications systems, including IP networks and ISDN networks.</li>
<li>Understand plans and specifications to identify the types and grades of materials and equipment needed to ensure compliance with project requirements.</li>
<li>Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of electrical plans, blueprints, and drawings. </li>
<li>Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.</li>
<li>Develop complex AV control system programming and configuration of AMX, Crestron, and Extron control systems.</li>
<li>Develop and conduct on-site user and administrative training for the installed integrated audio/visual systems.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Active Secret security clearance.</li>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related discipline with 5+ years of progressive experience.</li>
<li>Experience with IT and/or telecommunications projects. </li>
<li>Certified Crestron and AMX Programmer preferred.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience designing and programming Jupiter, Extron, Tandberg, Polycom, Crestron, Lutron, and corresponding hardware and software infrastructure.</li>
<li>Familiarity with IT, telecommunications, A/V, and electrical equipment, including related materials and specifications.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of videoconferencing standards.</li>
<li>Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.</li>
<li>Experience performing complex design/build and conceptual design practices.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.</li>
<li>Visio skills are a must; AutoCAD is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience in the installation, programming, troubleshooting, AND engineering of videoconferencing and integrated A/V technologies.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience with developing cost estimates and work breakdown structures for the design and implementation of complex projects.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience performing technical cross-training/coaching of junior colleagues.</li>
<li>Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.</li>
<li>Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.</li>
<li>Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.</li>

<li>M9 Solutions’ pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the position, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, location, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.</li>
