Construction Site Safety Supervisor

Job Overview

Walvekar Construction is hiring a Construction Site Safety Supervisor for an ongoing industrial project in Talegaon. This role is suitable for freshers with safety qualifications or candidates with up to 3 years of experience who want to build a career in construction safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor site safety procedures and protocols
• Conduct daily safety inspections and toolbox talks
• Ensure strict PPE compliance across the site
• Identify hazards and take preventive and corrective actions
• Maintain safety reports, checklists, and incident records
• Support safety inductions and worker training
• Coordinate with engineers and contractors on safety practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in any field with Safety Certification (NEBOSH / IOSH / Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred)
• Basic understanding of construction and industrial safety norms
• Knowledge of hazard identification and risk control
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Willingness to work full-time on-site

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Fresher with certification or up to 3 years of experience
• Exposure to industrial or factory projects is an advantage
• Based in Pune or willing to relocate to Talegaon
• Disciplined and proactive approach to site safety
