Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Journalist, based in Bridgewater, NS, with the flexibility to work partially from home. The Journalist will be responsible for researching, writing, and producing compelling news content, including articles and press releases. Additional responsibilities include conducting in-depth investigations, creating timely news stories, and contributing to broadcasting efforts. Maintaining editorial integrity while meeting deadlines will be essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Writing, News Writing, and creating Press Releases
• Experience conducting thorough Research and verifying information for factual accuracy
• Knowledge or experience in Broadcasting and multimedia journalism
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to fast-paced environments
• Proficiency with tools such as content management systems, editing software, and online publishing platforms
• Previous journalism experience or a degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Understanding of ethical journalism principles and a strong sense of story relevance
