Senior Python Developer (with network automation solutions experience)

Technology Division is seeking a talented and motivated individual for a Operation Python Engineer. Responsibilities will include the operational support and maintenance of the enterprise branch network, cloud-based infrastructure architecture and management, documentation and implementation of new solutions, and working high level network escalations from our branch teams.

We need self‑starter and proactive problem solver who takes initiative, works independently, and does not require constant direction. Able to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive tasks forward with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using Python services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and architect effective solutions.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with a focus on performance and maintainability.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software development and cloud technologies

Skills

Must have

Bachelor's degree in information technology preferred or related work experience.

Minimum 7 years of experience working with enterprise network solutions, to include cloud and on-premises networks (Python, Azure, AWS, etc.).

Minimum 7 years of experience with automation and scripting in an enterprise network environment.

Experience with network automation solutions including CI/CD tools such as CloudBees, GitOps, Jenkins, Docker, Helm charts, and Twistlock.

Extensive experience working with FastAPI and associated technologies.

Network engineering technologies, including shared services such as firewalls, application load balancing, DNS / DHCP and Wi-Fi. technologies. (working understanding)

Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment leveraging Jira and other agile methodologies.

Previous experience with Meraki ,Fortigate API, VeloCloud, CradlePoint, Fortinet, platforms.

The ability to develop processes and documentation according to the needs of the organization.

Experience with managing and working with Linux platforms.

The ability to be an active contributor in delivering network products in a timely fashion by participating and working through Agile scrum practices.
