Job Description
As an experienced DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Azure and AWS-based application environments. Your role will involve bridging the gap between development and operations to ensure the high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based applications.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, deploy, and manage application environments on Azure and AWS platforms
- Build and maintain robust continuous integration and deployment pipelines
- Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems for application performance and health
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation
- Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies
- Ensure security best practices across all application environments
- Provide L2/L3 support for application and infrastructure issues
- Maintain technical documentation for processes, procedures, and system architectures
- Work closely with development teams to optimize application deployment and performance
**Qualifications Required:**
- 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and cloud technologies
- Proficiency in both Azure and AWS services (VMs, App Services, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)
- Strong skills in Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for configuration management
- Experience with Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Grafana, or similar monitoring tools
- Proficiency with Git and branching strategies for version control
- Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent certifications (preferred)
- Understanding of microservices architecture, API management, and cloud database services (preferred)
- Knowledge of cloud networking concepts such as VPNets, VPCs, load balancers (preferred)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (preferred)
