Lowell School is seeking engaging Various Instrumental Music Instructors to teach students in grades K–8, starting in September. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music education and expertise in both cello performance and instruction. This role includes close collaboration with the Director of After-School Music and is anticipated to start at one day per week.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of music teaching experience
• Positive and friendly attitude
• Passion for working with children; ability to motivate and support children in reaching high levels of academic success
• Belief in the value of enrichment education for all children

Major Responsibilities:

• Selecting an age-appropriate repertoire
• Preparing students for performances
• Create dynamic lesson experiences to ensure students are challenged and inspired.
• Show evidence of adapting and differentiated instruction for all students
• Maintain complete and accurate records for attendance
• Develop and maintain genuine, positive, and consistent communication with parents.

The Expected Salary Range Is $60-$80/hour.
