About the Position
The Data Integration Engineer supports Losani Homes’ IT and business operations by designing, developing, and maintaining system‑to‑system data integrations across Dynamics 365 F&O, Salesforce, Dataverse, Marketing Cloud, Yardi Voyager, Microsoft SQL Server, and internal applications. This role ensures reliable data flow, builds and maintains API‑driven services, resolves integration and data quality issues, and provides technical insights that strengthen operational efficiency across the organization. The position collaborates closely with IT leadership, business teams, and external vendors to deliver stable, secure, and scalable integration solutions.
Job Duties
- Build, monitor, and enhance integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O, Salesforce, Dataverse, Marketing Cloud, Yardi Voyager, and internal SQL Server databases.
- Troubleshoot ingestion gaps, sync issues, duplicate identifiers, and data mismatches across integrated systems.
- Maintain data refresh processes across production and development environments.
- Design, build, and maintain REST API integrations across Dynamics 365 F&O, Salesforce, Dataverse, Marketing Cloud, Yardi Voyager, and internal systems — including endpoint creation, API consumption, authentication (OAuth/API keys), error handling, logging, and operational monitoring.
- Develop integration components using Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, SQL jobs, Dataverse connectors, Windows Services and Zappier.
- Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, transformations, and views for reporting and analytics using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Maintain SSRS and other legacy reports, ensuring Dynamics 365 F&O attribute and logic updates remain consistent.
- Develop and run Salesforce SOQL queries to extract, transform, and validate CRM datasets.
- Manage and optimize data operations where Salesforce is the primary dataset source, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Extract, audit, and validate Marketing Cloud datasets via API and SQL pipelines to support automations and customer journeys.
- Support data hygiene efforts across Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and Dataverse, including merging/deleting contacts and resolving sync issues.
- Troubleshoot and assist internal applications consuming API‑driven and Dataverse‑driven apps, and integration connectors.
- Participate in weekly business meetings and provide technical guidance to peers, vendors, consultants, and business teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data integration, API development, or ETL engineering
- Experience with advanced SQL (queries, stored procedures, views, transformations) and REST API development (authentication, error handling, JSON)
- Salesforce SOQL and data operations experience
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps or Power Automate, Microsoft Dataverse and Power Platform
- Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O or Yardi Voyager an asset
- SSRS report development
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Clear communication with technical and business audiences
- Strong documentation habits
- Proactive problem-solving and ownership mindset
- Background in real estate, construction, or ERP projects an asset
