Farm Manager

Overview

Seeking a hands-on, experienced Farm Manager to oversee daily operations, property maintenance, and horse care. This is a physically demanding role ideal for someone organized, proactive, and passionate about all aspects of farm management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain pastures and grounds (mowing, bush hogging, fencing, snow removal, etc.)
• Maintain farm equipment, buildings, and general repairs
• Manage hay production, supplies, and inventory
• Supervise and work with small staff, schedules, and contractors
• Ensure daily horse care, coordinate vet/farrier services, and communicate with owners
• Assist with landscaping, residential upkeep, and event setup

Qualifications

• Farm management experience required (equine experience preferred)
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to operate and maintain farm equipment
• Basic carpentry/maintenance skills
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
• Physically capable of lifting 60+ lbs and performing manual labor daily
