Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Freight Operations Manager – Ocean Export to manage end-to-end ocean export operations for a freight forwarding company. The candidate should have strong exposure to export shipment handling, freight operations, customer coordination, carrier management, and operational compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complete ocean export operations for freight forwarding shipments
- Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, transporters, CHA, and overseas agents
- Ensure timely shipment execution, booking confirmation, and documentation accuracy
- Manage customer escalations and provide operational solutions
- Coordinate closely with sales and finance teams for smooth shipment execution and billing
- Maintain strong relationships with shipping lines and service providers
Key Requirements:
- 8–12 years of experience in freight forwarding operations
- Strong knowledge of ocean export operations and shipment processes
- Experience in handling shipping lines, CHA coordination, and customer service
- Team handling and stakeholder management skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in freight forwarding/logistics industry is mandatory
