Manufacturing Team Leader

Location: Albertville

In this role, you will:

• Develop team unity between Day shift and Evening shift Team Members
• Lead teams toward department goals regarding safety, quality, and on-time delivery
• Work with employees on continuous improvement activities
• Responsible to assist in performance management of staff including orientation, safety, and performance management
• Be an active member of the SWAT to encourage and support the department
• Assist in maintaining departmental workplace injury documentation and performance measures
• Provide product and process training to employees, cross train employees in a variety of jobs
• Ensure that product meets quality standards

You will bring:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated leadership ability (including the ability to handle conflict)
• Strong knowledge of all Loewen products/manufacturing processes
• Strong commitment to Safety, Quality, On Time Delivery and Productivity
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated support for change
• Ability to flex when required
• Must be safety oriented
• Average computer skills required using MS Office and AS400
