Job Description
Description:You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Senior for the PrSM Pod program team. Our team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost‑effective, and providing engineering support to the production floor.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Senior you will be responsible for driving process excellence and supporting production operations.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Design and improve manufacturing processes for reliability, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Create statements of work for tooling and develop detailed work instructions.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Provide engineering support to the production floor and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate on tool design, fabrication, and implementation.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/combined education
-Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and detailed specifications
-Ability to create statement of work for tooling based on requirements
-Ability to work independently with limited oversight
-Ability to create and maintain work instructions
-Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail to create high-quality work products

-Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME/ANSI Y14.5)
-Proficient with MS Office software suite
-Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, PTC Creo, or Solid Works 3D CAD software
-Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in a manufacturing environment
-Knowledgeable of tool design, fabrication, and implementation
-Knowledgeable of engineering materials

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
