Job Title: Technology Delivery Head – Public Sector (India)

Role Overview

Strategic leadership role with single-point accountability for delivery across all Public Sector (PS) programs in India. The incumbent will manage a portfolio of USD 100–150Mn, ensuring profitability, operational excellence, and stakeholder satisfaction while driving growth in the domestic government and public sector domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery Leadership: End-to-end accountability for PS delivery across multiple large-scale programs.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee portfolio size of USD 100–150Mn, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
• Contract & Commercials: Lead contract management, governance, and commercial negotiations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Manage senior-level relationships with customers, consultants, and partners, including executive interactions with senior bureaucrats.
• Sales Support: Partner with sales teams in recent pursuits, proposals, and bid defense.
• People Leadership: Lead and inspire large delivery teams of 1,000–2,000 FTEs, fostering a culture of performance and accountability.
• Governance & Control: Ensure compliance, risk management, and delivery excellence across programs.

Skills & Experience Required

• Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a senior delivery leadership role, managing public sector portfolios in India.
• Program Management: Experience in handling large, complex turnkey programs within government/public sector domains.
• System Integrator Background: Strong understanding of SI role;

prior experience in Tier 1/2 IT Services organizations is mandatory.

• Commercial Acumen: Deep expertise in commercials, contract management, and profitability ownership.
• Executive Presence: Ability to engage and influence senior government officials and bureaucrats.
• Scale Management: Demonstrated success in leading 1,000–2,000 FTE teams and portfolios of USD 80Mn+ revenue.
• Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of government IT programs, public sector delivery models, and regulatory frameworks.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 20+ years of experience in IT services delivery, with significant exposure to government and public sector programs.
• Currently working in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 IT Services organization with direct accountability for large-scale domestic portfolios.
• Recognized for strategic delivery leadership, commercial sharpness, and ability to manage scale.
• Adept at balancing delivery excellence, profitability, and stakeholder management in complex environments.
